Our career and education
Uwe Macharey
- I studied electrical engineering at RWTH Aachen University and graduated in 2003
- I finished my PHD in 2009 at the Institute for high voltage technology at RWTH Aachen University
- Since 2017 I work for the Stadtwerke Juelich and since 2019 I am the leading engineer

- Prior to my son’s birth I worked for the Rheinische Post in the marketing and sales section
